Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust is excited to host its 10th Anniversary Field & Forest 5K Trail Run/Walk! The race is planned for Friday, June 6th at the Van Vleck Farm & Nature Sanctuary in Woodbury. All ages and skill levels of runners, joggers, and walkers are welcome to register to enjoy this 3.1-mile run/walk through the trails and rolling hills of the picturesque nature center. After the race, participants will enjoy live music by the popular cover rock band, The Leftovers. Participants and spectators will be able to purchase food from local food trucks Little Italy Pizza and Polar Sweets. The Flanders Grill will be open and serving up hamburgers, hot dogs, and Beyond Burgers! Additionally, local brewery, Woodbury Brewing Co., will be on site with their delicious brews for sale.
Online registration is ongoing but will close on June 5th at 11:59 PM. The fee is $32.80 for participants over 13 and $22.20 for participants 12 and younger (includes processing fees, but not tax). Flanders will offer same-day in-person race registration. Awards will be given to top male and female finishers overall as well as in seven age categories ranging from age under 19 to over 70.

The race will begin promptly at 6 PM at the Sugar House and will be held rain or shine; however, Flanders reserves the right to cancel in the case of lightning. We are sorry but the event cannot accommodate strollers or pets on the course.
