Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust Announces Journey Dance!

Journey Dance at Flanders

Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust is thrilled to announce a new program offering in partnership and sponsored by the Green Feather Foundation, Journey Dance!

This exciting program is scheduled for Saturday, August 10th at 2 PM and takes place at the Flanders Sugar House located on the Van Vleck Farm & Nature Sanctuary 48 Church Hill Road in Woodbury. All are invited to come and join us to move mindfully while exploring the elements with live music. Open your heart to the world around us through music, dance, and art. Get grounded in nature, inspire your mind, balance your emotions, and connect with the community. Meditation and movement expert, JoJo Keane, will guide attendees through a joyful flow of movement to live music to embody more grace in our lives and world. Participants can expect to move to live-inspired improvisational music to help connect with the earth, the sky, water, and creatures. Let’s wake up the senses and inspire our minds! Bring a yoga mat or blanket to enjoy restorative sound healing and meditation. All ages, bodies, and abilities are welcomed and accommodated.

There is a program fee to attend. The cost is $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Pre-registration is requested online at https://flandersnaturecenter.org/program-events/ or by calling 203-263-3711.
