Permit Fees Waived in Southbury for Flood-Related Repair Work

The Town of Southbury will be waiving permit fees for flood-related repair work.

For your fees to be waived:

  1. If you haven’t already, you will need to report your home/business flood-related damages online – go to Emergency Center page and click on Report Flood Damage (which will bring you to Crisis Track reporting form).
  2. Go to our online permitting software, City Squared, to complete your permit application. Please check the box signifying ‘pay in office’.
  3. The Town will then verify that your permit application cross-checks to the information you reported online. If the information matches in both systems, the fees will be waived.

If you need assistance with either reporting your damage information or completing an online permit, the Town has staff available to assist you.

  • Assistance for reporting damages using the link on our website: please go to Room 201 at Southbury Town Hall or call (203) 262-0600 x1.
  • Assistance with applying for a permit: please go to the 3rd Floor Building or Land Use Departments or call:
  • Building Department: (203) 262-0609
  • Zoning/Inland Wetlands/Planning Departments: (203) 262-0624
