Acts 4 Ministry Received Coat Donations From Burlington Coat Factory in Waterbury

Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. in Waterbury graciously accepted a notably generous donation of 125 coats for children and adults from Burlington Coat Factory in Waterbury on Friday, January 19.

Photographed following the donation Jeff Herbele, Waterbury Burlington Coat Factory Store Manager with Sarah Elizabeth Carabetta, Acts 4 Ministry Executive Director; and Christina Calvo, Waterbury resident.

Mrs. Carabetta and Mrs. Jones-Szoldra went to the Waterbury Burlington Coat Factory store to receive the donation on behalf of the non-denominational non-profit Acts 4 Ministry. They brought the coats to the Acts 4 Ministry’s headquarters and retail store at 1713 Thomaston Avenue to distribute to families who have experienced a life devastating event.

“Acts 4 Ministry is not a church,” explained Mrs. Carabetta. “We are a collaborative group of a volunteer board of directors, staff members and dozens of volunteers who desire to share God’s love by meeting the physical needs of others. We achieve this goal daily on many levels by collecting and distributing, free-of-charge to recipients, clothing, and housewares plus a free furniture distribution program.”
