Acts 4 Minstry Executive Director Presented To Tribury Rotary Club

Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. Executive Director Sarah Elizabeth Carabetta was the presenter during the Tribury Rotary Club’s Thursday, February 7 monthly meeting. “It was a great pleasure to share information about the core services of our non-denominational non-profit charitable organization with members of the Tribury Rotary Club along with the signing a book which the Club will donate to a local library."

At the close of the luncheon meeting at the Wyndham Hotel in Southbury, Mrs. Carabetta was photographed with Alon Sapir, Tribury Rotary Club President-Elect. The Tribury Rotary Club welcomes members to serve the Southbury, Woodbury and Middlebury communities, plus communities around the world.

During her presentation, Mrs. Carabetta articulated that, “Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. impacts positive changes in the broad Greater Waterbury community. Our mission is to support the daily needs of families and individuals who are in dire financial distress due to the unexpected loss of their homes through fire, flood or other unexpected or devastating life event. We achieve our mission through the collection and distribution of new and reusable housewares and clothing for women, men, and children.

“Acts 4 Ministry is a collaborative group of a volunteer board of directors, staff members and dozens of volunteers who desire to share God’s love by meeting the comforting physical needs of others. We achieve this goal daily by collecting and distributing, free-of-charge to recipients, clothing, and housewares plus free furniture.

“Families and individuals are frequently referred to Acts 4 Ministry by other charitable and social organizations. Our vision is to build relationships with people with varying levels of needs while providing them with the basics of daily living regardless of their faith, race, creed, national origin, or willingness to participate in religious activities.”

Located at 1713 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury, Acts 4 Ministry offers a store environment where people with immediate needs can select clothing, furniture, and household items. “Individuals and families can select clothing, dishes, glassware, furnishings, and other basic needs at no charge in a respectful, caring and supportive environment,” explained Carabetta.
