Acts 4 Ministry To Benefit From Virtual Trivia Fundraiser May 15

The non-denominational non-profit Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. at 1713 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury will be the singular beneficiary of a two-hour Virtual Trivia fundraiser that will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. The fundraiser will be hosted by Get Your Entertainment On and sponsored by Thomaston Savings Bank.

“We look forward to welcoming many participants to this Virtual Trivia fundraising event. All the funds raised from this event will help us meet our mission to support the daily needs of families and individuals who are in dire financial distress,” explained Acts 4 Ministry Executive Director Sarah Elizabeth Carabetta.

Acts 4 Ministry is a collaborative group of a volunteer board of directors, staff members, and dozens of volunteers who desire to share God’s love by meeting the comforting physical needs of others. “We work toward this goal daily,” explained Acts 4 Ministry Chairman of the Board John Bishop. “By creating this virtual fundraising event, we are continuing to work with the community to collect and redistribute needed furnishings and household items to families and individuals throughout the Greater Waterbury region who are in need of assistance especially during these trying times. This virtual fundraiser is a great kick-off to the reopening of our client services and offices at 1713 Thomaston Avenue we hope will take place this fall.”
