Acts 4 Ministry To Benefit From Trivia Night Live Fundraiser October 28

For the first time since 2020, the non-denominational non-profit Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. at 1713 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury will be the singular beneficiary of a two-hour in-person Trivia Night Live fundraiser on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

The event will be held at The Bible Church at 240 Dwight Street in Waterbury with doors opening at 6:00 and the Trivia event will be held between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. The fundraiser will be hosted by Get Your Entertainment On (GYEO) and sponsored by Thomaston Savings Bank.

“This is our first in-person fundraiser in over one year,” explained Acts 4 Ministry Executive Director Sarah Elizabeth Carabetta, “and we are sincerely looking forward to welcoming many participants. All the funds raised will help us meet our mission to support the daily needs of families and individuals who are in dire financial distress.”

Acts 4 Ministry is a collaborative group of a volunteer board of directors, staff members, and dozens of volunteers who desire to share God’s love by meeting the comforting physical needs of others. “We work toward this goal every day,” explained Acts 4 Ministry Chairman of the Board John Bishop. “By creating this live fundraising event, we are continuing to work with the community to collect and redistribute needed furnishings and household items to families and individuals throughout the region who are in need of assistance especially during these trying times."

The event’s sponsor, Thomaston Savings Bank,is a full-service, mutual savings bank headquartered in Thomaston, CT. Acts 4 is also inviting individuals who cannot attend the in-person fundraiser to donate $10 towards the organization’s Undergarment Fund that will provide their clients with a new pair of underwear for every day of each week.
