CEO Of Post University Speaker Feb. 23 For YPOWR Influential CEO Series

On February 23, the Waterbury Regional Chamber’s Y.P.O.W.R. – Young Professionals of Waterbury Region - will host their final presentation in their three-part 2018 “Influential Business CEO Speaker Series” titled “Community Cornerstones and Driving Change In Higher Education.” Attendees will be able to capitalize on the rare opportunity to directly engage with the CEO of Post University, one of three longstanding and dedicated higher education leaders in the greater Waterbury community who presented in this series.

Mr. Hopkins will present on Friday, February 23 from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m. at Post University located at 800 Country Club Road in Waterbury on the Middlebury border.

Attendees will gain insights into the challenges and triumphs Mr. Hopkins has encountered during his illustrious career including his individual path to success and the excitement of his current and future initiatives and plans for Post University.

John Hopkins has a successful history of working with institutional and private equity investors to create significant value in companies with challenges ranging from struggling organizations in their infancy to turnarounds or growth companies with revenues ranging from initial formation to over $2 billion. In February 2016, he joined Post University and since then has created significant value and awareness across the country, launching a new logo and marketing campaign to put the University in the forefront of top colleges of choice.

Mr. Hopkins’ branding ambitions launched the university’s new logo seen throughout their campus, on highway billboards, social media, and television. Marketing, branding, and promotion are key to how John Hopkins has fiercely taken on a very important and risky change for one of Waterbury’s oldest educational institutions. Attendees will hear how Mr. Hopkins seeks to maintain the dedication and commitment of this 128-year-old school while staying on top of educational trends to create vibrant and exciting change for Post University students and the business community.

The Influential Business CEO Speakers Series event is open to Y.P.O.W.R. and Waterbury Regional Chamber members and potential members. Costs are $15 for Y.P.O.W.R. members, $20 for Chamber members, and $25 for potential Waterbury Regional Chamber members.
