Snow Sculpture Contest - ENDS 03/30/2018

When the flakes start to fall, be creative and sculpt your masterpiece! Take a picture of your snow masterpiece and email the photos at parkrec3@southbury-ct.gov. Photos will be on display at the Parks and Recreation office and winners will be announced by March 30, 2018. Organizers: Southbury Parks and Recreation.

3/2/2018 - The Friends of the Southbury Public Library's Antiques & Collectibles Sale on March 2-4

The Friends are conducting a sale that will offer fresh out of the attic antiques & collectibles. These items were all reviewed for quality and priced fairly. Available items can be viewed at Estatesale.net.

  • Friday, March 2: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 3: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 4: 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Preview, Friday, 10:00 – 2:00 (volume discounts will be offered) At the Southbury Public Library – 100 Poverty Road, Southbury, CT

Sacred Heart Lenten Fish Fry on March 2 & 16, 2018

Friday Fish Fry during the Lenten Season. Includes: fried or baked fish, french fries, cole slaw, juice, soda, coffee, and cake. Macaroni and cheese will be offered as a substitute meal, and claim chowder will be available for an additional cost.

The event will be held on Friday, March 2 and Friday, March 16.
