Southbury Library Talks Buying A New Computer on November 16

Buying a Computer? Friday, November 16 from 1-3pm in Kingsley

Are you interested in purchasing a new computer? We will discuss many aspects of making your purchase, including What type of computer might best suit your needs (desktop vs. laptop, Windows vs. MAC vs. Chromebook, convertible, etc.)? What hardware features are important (RAM, processor, hard drive, optical drive, touchscreen, etc.)?  What about security software, productivity software, and extended warranties? Where should I make my purchase and how much should I expect to spend?

So come with plenty of questions to this worthwhile presentation!  The information that you gain will help you feel more comfortable with making your purchase.

Mike Ingber is the owner of Upward Business Systems, which has been in business since 1989 and provides expert, reliable, affordable computer consulting services to a large base of clients.  Clients include town halls, schools, non-profit agencies, small and medium businesses of all sorts, home users, and senior citizens.  Mike received an M.S. Degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, and a B.S. Degree in Computer Science and Applied Math from Stony Brook University.
