Brass City Brew & Que on September 7, Tickets Now Available!

Celebrating its 14th year of success, Waterbury’s very popular Brass City Brew Fest is now – the Brass City Brew & ‘Que (BCB&Q). The annual fundraiser for Main Street Waterbury will be held rain or shine under numerous tents at Library Park at 267 Grand Street in downtown Waterbury.

The beneficiary of the 2019 BCB&Q is the event’s producer, Main Street Waterbury, a non-profit organization committed to the on-going revitalization of Downtown Waterbury. All proceeds from the event will support Main Street's year-round programs and initiatives.

The 2019 BCB&Q will be held on Saturday, September 7, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. when more than 2,000 beer aficionados gathering from Connecticut and beyond will gather at Library Park. This year’s festive celebration will feature 125+ breweries and brewpubs showcasing more than 250 domestic and international brews. The fundraiser will also feature live music, Pitmaster competition, craft beer and barbeque seminars, home brewers competition, barbeque food vendors, and much more.

The Brass City Brew & ‘Que for 2019 is presented by the non-profit Main Street Waterbury with the support of Presenting Sponsor Blasius Chevrolet of Waterbury and Performance Sponsor The City of Waterbury Arts & Tourism Commission. The event is hosted by Nutmeg Fine Wines & Spirits with media support from iHeartMedia.

Over the past 13 years, the Brass City Brew and Que fest has evolved into one of the largest in New England and provides an exceptional opportunity for beer-lovers to sample an exciting variety of craft brews. This event has drawn attendees from across Connecticut and a dozen of states along the East Coast.

The general admission ticket price purchased in advance is $35 and $40 at the gate on September 7th. Purchase of tickets in advance is highly recommended as past events rapidly sold out. A Very Intimate Preview (VIP) Session will be held between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. with a maximum of 700 attendees for an additional $10, for a total of $45 in advance and $50 at the gate.

All ticket holders will be welcomed to enjoy a Home Brewers Showcase featuring regional up-and-coming craft brewers, mini-seminars to be held throughout the day, hearty BBQ food offerings from local restaurants and food trucks and a Downtown Bartenders Showcase.

Event host, Rob Gardner, owner of Nutmeg Fine Wines & Spirits of Waterbury, is coordinating the participation of the many generous brewers, brewpubs, distributors and brewery representatives.  The Pitmaster competition is being produced once again by Kevin Egan, a member of the New England Barbecue Society (NEBS) who is schooled in smoking meats and other related techniques.
