Young Professionals Invited To Happy Hour Fundraiser Aug. 21

The Young Professionals of Waterbury Region (YPOWR), the Waterbury Regional Chamber’s development organization for young professionals in the region, will hold a Happy Hour event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at Jesse Camille’s Restaurant in Naugatuck to support Jane Doe No More, the nonprofit organization that supports and empowers survivors of sexual assault.

The event is open to all young professionals in the region and will feature a cash bar and appetizers, for a suggested donation of $5. Raffle tickets also will be sold for prizes, with the proceeds to benefit both Jane Doe No More and YPOWR.

“Part of the mission for YPOWR is to provide young professionals in the region with opportunities to promote and support local nonprofit organizations,” said YPOWR Director Cassie Michaels, events coordinator for the Waterbury Regional Chamber. “This Happy Hour offers the chance to do that, while also offering opportunities to network, and to have some fun while doing it.”

Michaels added that YPOWR is grateful to Jesse Camille’s for serving as the Host Sponsor for the event.

Space is limited, so registration in advance is recommended. To register, call the Chamber at 203-7570701 or visit www.ypowr.org.
