A Celebration of Women Composers Program at the Southbury Public Library Tomorrow!

On Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 1-2:30pm on Zoom,  join us for this fun and informative lecture and musical performance about the history of the women composers.

Jeffrey Engel will highlight the lives and the music of several distinguished female composers/concert pianists who attained recognition and success during the nineteenth century.  This lecture will be accompanied by the music of these composers performed by Jeffrey Engel.

Jeffrey Engel graduated from Ithaca College (New York). Mr. Engel has been giving lectures devoted to music history in colleges, libraries, retirement communities and other venues for some twenty years. He believes that such lectures should be entertaining as well as informative.
