Southbury’s Got Talent on April 9 via Zoom

Southbury's got talent and the SDTC will shine a spotlight on it, during a virtual talent competition for Southbury residents via Zoom, Friday, April 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The virtual stage is open to all forms of talent, with acts such as singing, dancing, comedy, magic, and other G-rated, family-friendly genres. Single acts, duos, or groups are welcome to compete.

A $100 prize will be offered in two age divisions, a Youth Division for ages 4 to 17 and an Adult Division for performers 18 and over.

The entry fee for contestants is $10 per act. Winners will be determined by the greatest number of votes received from the audience.

Attendance as a viewer is free, but audience members must RSVP to reserve a seat. To VOTE for your favorite act, you can purchase two votes, one vote in each category, for a fee of $10. You do not need to attend the event to VOTE.

Join us for a fun evening to support the arts and unite our community. For details, please visit www.southburydemocrats.com to learn more and register to compete, attend, and VOTE.
