CT Dept. of Veterans Affairs Hosts 9/11 20th Anniversary Memorial Ceremony in Rocky Hill

Saturday, September 11th at 11:00am, Veterans Affairs Commissioner will be joined by Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, CT Adjutant General Francis Evon, CT Federal VA Healthcare Director Alfred Montoya, Gold Star Families, Veteran Leaders and federal, state, and local officials to honor and memorialize the victims of 9/11 and its aftermath - the victims of the terrorist attacks that day, our State’s military personnel who fell in action since 9/11 and our State’s fallen First Responders. 

Veterans Affairs Commissioner Thomas J. Saadi; Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz; CT Adjutant General Francis Evon; Federal VA Healthcare CT Director Alfred Montoya; CT Dept. of Emergency Services and Public Protection James Rovella; U.S. Congressman Joe Courtney, U.S. Congressman John Larson, U.S. Congressman Chris Murphy, Commander Jacob Hurt, Submarine Readiness Squadron 12, SUBASE New London and Goldstar Family Rep Patricia Perry (mother of Navy Seal Brian Bill killed in action in Afghanistan) will be amongst those in attendance. 

Veterans Affairs Campus Auditorium is located at 287 West Street in Rocky Hill.
