Get your (VIDEO) game ON and head to Southbury Public Library on Saturday!

Southbury Public Library has live videogames galore for tweens, teens, and adults this Saturday, June 25 from 1 to 4pm!

Tweens and teens in Grades 6-12 are invited to duke it out in a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Contest from 1-4pm, and adults of any age can join us for Retro Game Night from 4:30-6:30pm, where we'll feature all your old favorites from Pacman to the original Donkey Kong and beyond! Read on for more information about both events!

If you'd like to join us, please make sure to register so we know to expect you and reserve your spot! We'll provide all the controllers and equipment, so all you'll have to bring is your game face!

Join us for our Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game tournament with OneUp Games! Challenge your friends, choose your main and see if you can last to the end! Controllers will be available, but you can bring your own if you prefer! Find out more and register on our website here. For those entering Grades 6-12 or Class of 2022 12th Grade Graduates.

Revisit the glory days of when gaming started and reminisce at this gaming night you don’t want to miss with OneUp Games! Systems and games will be available for play via the Nintendo Switch online membership, which includes NES, SNES, N64 and Sega Genesis! Other titles and game systems will be included. Find out more and register on our website here.

Like all our programs, these events are totally free, open to residents of any town, and sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
