Arts Escape What's It Worth? An Antique and Art Appraisal Luncheon on October 22 at the Heritage Hotel

SOUTHBURY: Arts Escape is hosting What’s It Worth? An Antique and Art Appraisal Luncheon on October 22, 2022, at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This year’s fall fundraiser celebrates Arts Escape’s 10^th Anniversary and features appraisals by Wayne Mattox, owner of Wayne Mattox Antiques in Woodbury, CT.

Do you have items that you inherited, purchased at a tag sale, or acquired over the years

and wonder what they are worth? Mattox will appraise two items from each attendee as he provides lively commentary on antiques during the luncheon.

Mattox has appeared on The History Channel’s American Pickers, as well as other television shows, and frequently assists producers and set designers with selecting period antiques.  

The event is sponsored by Union Savings Bank and Green Wealth Management Group. All proceeds benefit Arts Escape, a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire adults to explore and grow through art, writing, music, and photography workshops while building new relationships.
