The Southbury Senior Center is hosting an Open House on Thursday, October 20, from 8:45 am – 3:00 pm for area seniors aged 60 and over.
Registration is required to participate in any of the days’ programs by calling the center at 203-262-0651.
The Schedule for the day will be as follows:
- 8:45 am “Try it” Yoga (a mat is required for this class)
- 10:00 am Welcome Coffee Sponsored by NCE Homecare
- 10:00 am “Try it” Weight Strengthen and Tone (Please bring your own light weights, 1-3 lbs.)
- 11:00 am Make & Take Craft, Gnome Door Hanger Sponsored by Motif by Monarch
- 12:15 $5 Lasagna Lunch* and Raffle drawing; Raffle Sponsored by the Lutheran Home
*Form 5 is required to participate in lunch; available at the center. Only 5 spots remaining. - 1:00 Murder Mystery Sponsored by Candlewood Valley Health
- 2:00 Presentation on Witch Trials in Connecticut with Jason Scappaticci
All memberships completed on this day will be valid through December 31, 2023. Southbury residents $15, non-residents $25.
