Grease Comes Back to the Big Screen for Its 45th Anniversary, Showing at the Ridgefield Playhouse on May 14

“It’s Greased Lightnin’!” The kids are cool, the cars are hot, and the tunes are always rockin’ and rollin’ when one of the most beloved comedies of all time, Grease, comes back to theaters to celebrate its 45th anniversary!

Come see it on the big screen of the Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at 7pm as part of the Cohen and Wolf P.C. Movie Series. Good girl Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) is new to school, but ready to join the Pink Ladies. Bad boy Danny (John Travolta), the leader of the T-Birds, has just discovered their summer lovin’ wasn’t just a passing fling when they’re reunited at Rydell High School. As part of Fathom's Big Screen Classics, historian and critic Leonard Maltin provides insights into the films, sharing his one-of-a-kind expertise with fans. And at the Playhouse, it’s more than just a movie!
