A reminder that the storm debris removal will begin on Monday, July 23rd at 7 am.
Southbury residents should move all of their storm-related, vegetative debris to the right of way by Monday morning. The right of way varies from road to road but it is generally 10 feet from the curb. Residential storm debris will be removed from all town and state-maintained roads only; private roads are not included. Click here to view a list of roads which are town, state or private.
There will be several crews in town and they will move quickly. Based on the variability of road status and crew progress we are unable to provide a route schedule. Removal is expected to take approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
Crews will make only one pass on each road.
