The Town of Southbury reports that there is a marked increase in the number utility crews for power restoration in town. Eversource is still stating that Southbury will be restored to within 1% by 12 noon today.
The Town is opening a cooling station to be located at the Senior Center today until 4pm. The Southbury Public Library will be increasing its patron limits to 35 starting Wednesday, August 12. All other restrictions/rules remain in place.
Potable water stations at the Town Hall and Senior Center and a non-potable water station at the Firehouse on Main Street South continue to remain open 24/7 for resident access. There are also charging stations at Town Hall, the Senior Center/P&R and the Public Library.
