The Town of Southbury is currently accepting applications for the position of Recreation Coordinator.
Full-time with benefits. This position provides administrative and program support services for the Parks and Recreation Department. Duties include: coordinating and developing programming, performing bookkeeping, clerical duties and program evaluation, communicating with citizens, vendors and service providers, supporting and attending special events and assisting with design and distribution of promotional materials.
The position is 35 hours/week at $23.63/hour with a comprehensive benefits package. Night and weekend availability required for programming and meetings. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school plus college coursework in business administration or recreation and leisure services or high school degree plus three to five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
