Southbury Business Owner Workshop Presenter October 30th At 2018 Business Women's Forum

Carolyn Finch of Southbury, body language specialist and CEO of Electrific Solutions Inc. in Southbury, will present “Oops! Your Body Language Is Showing” during the 36th annual Business Women’s Forum (BWF) on Tuesday, October 30, 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.

The Business Women’s Forum (BWF), a personal and professional development leadership conference for women, will feature not only dynamic businesswoman Bethenny Frankel as its keynote as well as award-winning motivational speaker Linda Larsen, but also will present six empowering workshops throughout the day. As Connecticut’s longest-running full-day leadership conference for women, the Business Women’s Forum will strive to inspire, motivate, and excite participants.

The buzz for the 2018 BWF surrounds keynote speaker Bethenny Frankel, creator of Skinnygirl cocktails, TV talk show host and star, as well as a motivational speaker and actress Linda Larsen, BSW, MFA, CPAE. Adding to their list of accolades, both women are inspiring bestselling authors.

An anticipated 500+ participants will be able to choose from six workshops to bring new knowledge and expertise back to their workplace and to network with workshop presenters. Workshop topics include the importance of self-care for quality leadership, successful negotiation tactics, the role of nonverbal communication and body language at work, managing the talents of multiple generations, and two “Power Networking Hour” sessions.

“Oops! Your Body Language Is Showing” workshop presenter Carolyn Finch is a speech therapist, nutritionist, alternative practitioner, and an award-winning professional speaker and author Carolyn has appeared on “Ellen”, “Good Morning America”, MSNBC, NBC and VHI-TV, and in major print publications including “Cosmopolitan.”

During her BWF workshop, Carolyn Finch will help attendees understand how body language or nonverbal communication sends most messages to other people. She will describe how unlike speech, which can be manipulated to meet the needs of the listener, body language never stops and sends messages of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual energies. Finch will encourage participants to laugh, learn and love during this presentation, and receive insights into lying and finding success by adjusting body language.
