M. Augustus “Gus” Ryer, a REALTOR® and commercial broker with Ryer Associates in Danbury, has been elected as the 2019 Vice President-at-Large for Small Firms, Region 1 and 2 for the Connecticut REALTORS® (CTR). He has been an active member of both CTR and the Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® (NFCAR) since 2011.
Ryer serves as a CTR Director, Trustee to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee and sits on the Executive and Legislative/Political Affairs Committees.
Locally, Ryer is a NFCAR Director, and Legislative Liaison and President for the Commercial Brokers Alliance of Western Connecticut. He’s a Director of the Housatonic Development Corporation which provides government guaranteed real estate loans to small and medium-sized businesses. A third generation REALTOR®, Ryer resides in Southbury CT.
