Town of Southbury Accepting Applications for Part-Time Project Manager

Project Manager. Part-Time - 18 hours per week, $30.00 per hour.

Manages and coordinates projects for the Public Works Department, including maintenance, construction, and repairs of Town assets, including buildings, roadways, bridges, drainage systems, recreational facilities, and other town infrastructures. Prepares bid documents and requests (RFP/RFQ’s) for professional services, reviews project budgets and reviews payments to vendors and contractors. Communicates status of Department projects and programs with building users, and the public. Five years’ experience in the management of public works projects or its equivalent. Knowledge of road construction and maintenance, as well as good understanding of general construction methods and technology.

Minimum of a baccalaureate degree in Engineering or related construction field. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Must have a valid motor vehicle license. Click to view the job description.
