Create/Update Your Resume at Arts Escape in Southbury on March 10 from 10am to noon.
Is it time to create a new resume or update the one you have? This workshop will help you create a resume that incorporates the newest resume writing trends and addresses hiring managers’ preferences. We will focus on developing the skills to clearly communicate accomplishments and demonstrate skills and potential.
Discussions and practice include the following:
- Writing the summary
- Organizing work history effectively
- Phrasing responsibilities to reflect their value
- Emphasizing accomplishments
- Handling employments gaps
- Increasing the visual appeal of the resume
- Attendees are welcome bring their current resume to the class.
The fee for the one-day workshop is $25. Class size is limited to 8 students.
Bobbi Knezek is the former owner of WD Communications, an international communications training firm. She spent her career developing and presenting seminars to help corporate employees at all levels polish their writing, speaking, and leadership skills.
