The Town of Southbury is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Works Director
Public Works Director. Full Time.
Responsible for planning, organizing and directing departmental activities in the areas of general road, bridge, storm sewers, town buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles maintenance; snow and ice removal from town roads; solid waste handling and recycling; procurement of vehicles and equipment of services related to public works functions and operations. BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required; MS Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred. Minimum of ten years of experience in public works, construction management or civil engineering. Minimum of five years of management and supervisory experience.
