The Town of Southbury is currently accepting applications for the position of Transportation Coordinator at the Senior Services Department.
Responsible for identifying transportation needs, scheduling and confirming rides, preparation and distribution to drivers of daily route sheets and maintaining related records. Oversees the daily operation of the minibus fleet and transporting service including monitoring and scheduling routine maintenance of buses. Responsible for the training and scheduling of newly hired minibus drivers. Graduation from high school plus one to two years of relevant administrative, scheduling and transportation-related experience.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be acceptable.
