Town of Southbury Task Force Seeks Input Regarding Federal Funds

The Town has received $5.79 million dollars from the Federal American Rescue Plan Act. The Southbury Board of Selectmen has formed a task force to develop a plan for the use of these funds.

The task force is looking for input from the community about how they think the Town should allocate the money within the federal guidelines. A summary of the preliminary guidance can be found here, and more information will be forthcoming.

The task force is seeking input from all stakeholders as they determine how to utilize these funds in the best interest of the Town. Residents can submit their suggestions for consideration by the task force here.
