The Town of Southbury is currently accepting applications for the position of per diem Laborer at the Southbury Transfer Station/Seasonal Laborer.
Laborer at the Southbury Transfer Station/Seasonal Laborer. Per diem, as needed position, $16.00 per hour. Performs manual labor duties including monitoring and assisting in deposit of recycling and solid waste materials, cleaning up debris and litter, placing and securing tarps on containers, preparing trailers for transport, loading materials, moving appliances, electronics and car batteries, clearing snow and ice from walkway and bins, checking vehicles for permits, and other manual work assignments.
