Editor's note: here on HamletHub, we are excited to introduce you to the team at Effectv! For the past few months, we have put a spotlight on local Effectv employees and learned what they love about their community, their job, and working with local small businesses.
Meet Rusty Beers, part of the local Effectv team!
Where do you call home?
I have lived in Bethel, CT for almost 25 years.
How many years have you worked at Effectv?
I have spent the majority of my career in the Greater Danbury Area, 25 years of which have been at Effectv.
Best part of your job?
I enjoy helping local businesses see the value in effectively reaching the right viewer through data-driven decisions. Working with my clients to find the most meaningful audiences for their businesses is always a project I enjoy seeing come to life. What’s really cool, is we can report on the results making TV and video advertising just as easy as digital.
What do you love about your community?
I love that our community is just big enough to offer us a variety of great locally owned places to dine, shop, and be entertained. I love that you can walk into a store, restaurant, or other local business and there is a good chance you will run into somebody that you know, and they will greet you with a warm smile. That’s what makes our community so great.
What do you like most about serving local businesses in the area?
Local business is the lifeline of our community. If local businesses are successful, that’s a win for the entire community. I love getting to personally know and work with small business owners. It’s always such a great feeling when someone tells me they grew their business, opened another location, they had to hire more staff, they had record sales, all because we helped them advertise on TV and we reach the right audience.
What is a fun fact about you?
I can be known as the King of the “Dad” jokes. I have two amazing grandchildren, so my REIGN of dad joking just got a 20-plus year extension!
