The Town of Southbury is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Administrative Assistant.
Full-time. Performs administrative and clerical duties for the Police Department. Prepares correspondence such as police reports and search warrants, tracks department records including payroll and arrests, communicates with the public, handles complaints and information requests and maintains schedules and supplies.
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from high school plus two years of experience in an administrative role. A complete background check, fingerprints and drug screening will be required. The position is 35 hours per week with a salary range of $40,000-45,000/year and offers a comprehensive benefit package.
