The C.H. Booth Library is presenting an excellent program to mark the 100th anniversary of WWI.

Dr. Mark Schenker of Yale College will discuss the poetry written by British soldiers who served in - and many of whom died in - the First World War. A handout of poems by Edward Thomas, Siegfried Sassoon, Wilfred Owen and others will be available at and in advance of the lecture.

The C.H. Booth Library is located on 25 Main Street, Newtown, CT.

To register for the program, please visit their website or call 203-426-4533.
