Bullet Hill Road Bridge over I-84 in  Southbury to be Closed Beginning on June 11, 2018, for Five  Weeks, Until  July 16, 2018

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the Bullet Hill Road Bridge over I-84 in the Town of Southbury will be closed beginning June 11, 2018, for five weeks through July 16, 2018.

The closure is required in order to perform necessary concrete deck and joint repairs. The final configuration will include a newly paved wearing surface on the bridge and approach slabs.

The work being performed on the bridge is preventative maintenance and will repair structural steel deficiencies, replace bearings as necessary, and some incidental minor rehabilitation such as deck patching and concrete repairs.

A signed detour will be established along Depot Hill Road, South Street, Route 6/67 and Kettletown Road.
