The Ivy Assisted Living Community Scheduled To Open In February

The Ivy Assisted Living Residential Community in Watertown, currently under construction at 655 Straits Turnpike on the Watertown/Middlebury border, is scheduled to open its’ 89 studio, one-and two-bedroom apartments in early February 2020.

Conveniently located with rapid access to Routes 6, 63, 8 and I- 84, The Ivy is owned by The Arbors and offers 89 studios, one and two-bedroom apartments plus a specialized memory support environment called Reflections.

“As a very special incentive to potential residents,” stated Amie Hanrahan, co-owner of the currently-under-construction The Ivy at Watertown, “we will cover the total costs of moving for residents relocating from the local area towns of Watertown, Oakville, Middlebury, Southbury, Oxford, Woodbury, Newtown, Bethel, Waterbury or Naugatuck. All towns within a 25-mile radius of our location on Straits Turnpike.”

Since November of 2019, The Ivy at Watertown has been receiving deposits. “We anticipate our first group of residents will move in by the first week in February,” commented Hanrahan.

All of the apartments at The Ivy are designed with daily high-quality personal care services, walk-in showers, cable, phone and Internet service, self-service washers and dryers, plus car snow removal services for all residents.

The Ivy at Watertown’s elegant home-like environment amenities includes dining on local culinary favorites, a community living room with fireplace, outdoor courtyard and patio, and a pub with complimentary snacks and beverages.
