Beginning today, Monday, June 1st, the Southbury Public Library says that the Pickup Window service is available by appointment only for all Southbury residents. Call 203-262-0626 to make an appointment!
Southbury residents can call 203-262-0626 and select option 6 to arrange a time on select days to pick up library materials. If you cannot use the phone, please email sbypickup@biblio.org.
Before you call, be sure to have a list of your selections ready, as well as some alternate choices. You may also place holds on books from home before calling. Each member of the household will be allowed 5 items per pickup appointment. Feel free to call the reference desk at 203-262-0626 ext. 130 or email Chris at cmurphy@biblio.org if you would like help choosing your 5 items.
Staff will check out the items before the appointment and patrons will be able to pick them up from a table located outside the pickup window adjacent to the Main Entrance. All items will be checked out through June 30th.
Please keep in mind that items may only be returned using the usual outdoor book return slots.
When you call to make your appointment, we will provide additional instructions and guidelines for using our pickup window service.
