Southbury Farmers' Market Opens Tomorrow!

Town of Southbury Farmers' Market opens tomorrow, Thursday, June 18 on the green next to Southbury Town Hall from 3-6pm.

The Southbury Farmers' Market is producer-only, meaning the farmer or specialty food maker behind the table is the person who grew or made the product. The market offers a great mix of plants, veggies, fruit, honey, jam, maple syrup, olive oil, baked goods, and wines!

Market opens June 18, 2020 and runs until October 8, 2020 on Thursdays from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Covid-19 Changes

  1. Vendors will be spread out all over the field to allow for plenty of room to wait in line if needed.
  2. We are striving for one way traffic flow, please enter and exit the market at marked locations.
  3. We are asking everyone to wear a mask, several of our vendors have health issues and are trying to keep doing their jobs and stay healthy at the same time and also observe social distances with vendors, waiting in line and other customers.
  4. Pre Orders and Contactless payment is accepted at many of our vendors.
  5. Vendors can again provide bags. If you choose to bring your own the vendor will ask you to bag your own purchase.
  6. Vendors are now low-touch or no-touch; in many cases you will not be able to enter their tents - you will tell them what you want and they will retrieve it for you.
  7. The situation is fluid and as regulations change we will update this list but for now we are so thankful to be able to open with the support of town government and health district.

The Market is located at Southbury Town Hall Green, 501 Main Street South
