Southbury’s Ballantine Park pool reopened on June 22nd, 2020 with new guidelines to ensure the safety of both the pool-goers and employees. Such changes include reserving spots 24 hours in advance and bringing your own chairs.
Additionally, Southbury Parks and Recreation plan to reopen camps on June 29th with two sessions a day. Camp groups will be made up of 10 children or less and each will have a specific counselor assigned to them for the week. Additionally, the camp is operating under the guideline of only accepting campers from the Region 15 school district and this applies to the pool as well.
