Central Health Uniform To Host Grand Opening Next Wednesday, November 10

Central Health Uniform will host a Grand Opening of their new medical scrubs, uniforms, accessories, footwear for women and men store at 201 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury on Wednesday, November 10 at 2:00 PM.

Central Health Uniform offers an exclusive line of medical and nursing scrubs plus accessories. “We truly are a one-stop shop,” stated Nicole McCullough, owner. “Our popular Ultra Soft and Stretch collections feature some of the best fitting, high quality made uniforms and scrubs available on the market today. Our comfortable scrubs collections are available in a variety of bright colors and styles for every season, and many at discount prices.”

A member of the Waterbury Regional Chamber for the past year, Central Health Uniform offers a popular on-site Mobile Scrub Store. “Wherever possible,” explained McCullough, “I drive the Store to area nursing homes, hospitals or rehabilitation centers and park outside to offer staff members the convenience of shopping for apparel, footwear or accessories without going offsite or using their personal time to shop. Staff often shop either before or after their work shifts.”

The Mobile Scrub Store provides services to Abbott Terrace of Waterbury, Litchfield Woods of Torrington, Arden House of Hamden, and others in Fairfield, Stratford and Bridgeport. To schedule a visit of the Mobile Scrub Store in 2022, call 203-572-5495

“We also offer embroidery and a ‘scrubscription’ service for one low monthly fee that provides new scrubs, a free gift, and is delivered to subscribers’ doors,” stated McCullough. “Soon we will also offer a mobile laundry service.”

A mother to five children, three biological and two foster, Nicole McCullough entered the medical field in June of 2016 as a nursing assistant but she was unfamiliar with the word ‘scrubs’. She didn’t have scrubs to wear to her first clients’ home so the program she worked with gave her a couple of scrubs for free. “When I went to purchase my own scrubs,” she recalled, “I couldn’t believe how expensive they were and that started the birth of Central Health Uniform.”

As a retail store, and online and mobile super stores, today Central Health Uniforms offers quality scrubs plus name brands such as Cherokee, Dickies EDS, Natural Uniforms, Beverly Hills Uniforms, Med Couture, MediChic, Marilyn Monroe and Zikit scrubs. Accessories available range from stethoscopes, pen lights to colorful and stylish face masks and clog footwear. “We take great pride,” commented McCullough, “in providing medical professionals worldwide with affordable and high-quality uniforms and accessories.

Not only do these professionals utilize our uniforms and scrubs in their careers, they often wear them as casual or sleep wear and other-work wear. Teachers have also began to wear them to class to keep their families safe from COVID. As an online superstore, our extensive range of scrubs includes 2 pocket scrub sets, cargo scrub sets, mock wrap  scrub sets, one-pocket  scrub tops, V-neck scrub tops, drawstring  scrub pants, cargo pants, print tops, plus shoe covers, lab coats, warm-up jackets, ultra-lite clogs and fashion clogs.”

Additional accessories offered surgical caps in a variety of colors and styles, colorful compression socks for women and men, tote bags, plus a CNA Starter Kit that includes two scrub sets, hand sanitizer and hand lotion, latex gloves, and an Ambu Res-Cue CPR Mask on a key chain.

Group discounts are offered for schools and organizations, plus a collection of gently worn and cared-for uniforms and scrubs. To learn more, visit www.centralhealthuniform.com or call Central Health Uniform at 203-572-5495.
