Central Health Uniform will host a Grand Opening of their new medical scrubs, uniforms, accessories, footwear for women and men store at 201 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury on Wednesday, November 10 at 2:00 PM.
Central Health Uniform offers an exclusive line of medical and nursing scrubs plus accessories. “We truly are a one-stop shop,” stated Nicole McCullough, owner. “Our popular Ultra Soft and Stretch collections feature some of the best fitting, high quality made uniforms and scrubs available on the market today. A member of the Waterbury Regional Chamber for the past year, Central Health Uniform offers a popular on-site Mobile Scrub Store. “Wherever possible,” explained McCullough, “I drive the Store to area nursing homes, hospitals or rehabilitation centers and park outside to offer staff members the convenience of shopping for apparel, footwear or accessories without going offsite or using their personal time to shop. Staff often shop either before or after their work shifts.”

“We also offer embroidery and a ‘scrubscription’ service for one low monthly fee that provides new scrubs, a free gift, and is delivered to subscribers’ doors,” stated McCullough. “Soon we will also offer a mobile laundry service.”
A mother to five children, three biological and two foster, Nicole McCullough entered the medical field in June of 2016 as a nursing assistant but she was unfamiliar with the word ‘scrubs’. She didn’t have scrubs to wear to her first clients’ home so the program she worked with gave her a couple of scrubs for free. “When I went to purchase my own scrubs,” she recalled, “I couldn’t believe how expensive they were and that started the birth of Central Health Uniform.”
