Southbury Public Works Department has announced its road improvement and resurfacing projects for 2022. The list of roads scheduled to be resurfaced can be found at www.southbury-ct.org/roadprogram.
The work for milling and paving has been scheduled to begin the week of April 25, 2022, starting with following areas: Oak Tree/Bullet Hill/Depot Hill Roads and River/Midland Trails.
* The work for chip sealing has been scheduled to begin the week of May 2, 2022.
* Please note that the schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and scheduling with outside vendors.
* Electronic signs and/or other road signs will be placed in the areas scheduled to be resurfaced ahead of work.
* Motorists are asked to drive slow in construction zones and use alternate routes if possible.
