Town of Southbury Public Info Forum Regarding Rehab of Flood Bridge and Heritage Road Bridges

The Town of Southbury is providing a Public Informational Forum for the bridges that carry Flood Bridge Road and Heritage Road over the Pomperaug River in the Town of Southbury.

The project is currently in the bidding award phase. This project consists of the rehabilitation of the bridges including deck repair and resurfacing, joint repair and miscellaneous concrete repair to the foundations. Construction cost of this project is estimated between $750,000 to $1,000,000.

A presentation by the Town will also be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 5:00 pm in Room 205 of the Town Hall. Information regarding this project can be found here: Flood Bridge Road BridgeHeritage Road Bridge. The public is invited to review this information and/or attend the presentation.

It is the Town’s policy to keep persons informed and involved when such projects are undertaken. It is important that the community share its concerns to assist in the project’s development.
