SOUTHBURY – The Southbury Democratic Town Committee (SDTC) will host a Fall Picnic from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, September 25, at Ballantine Park Pavilion, 611 Old Field Rd. The event will be held during rain or shine.
Every Democratic candidate who appears on the Southbury ballot this November has been invited to speak and share their accomplishments and hopes for our state. At press time, nearly all have confirmed their attendance.
“Please join us for an afternoon of great food with great people,” said SDTC Chairman Michael Carrington.
“Our annual picnic is designed to give Southbury residents of all persuasions an opportunity to mingle with CT’s Democratic candidates.
Come out and get to know your current and future state leaders, ask questions, share concerns, and enjoy the fabulous fall weather and community camaraderie,” Carrington added.
The cost for lunch is $25 per adult and $12.50 per child 12 and under. Reservations must be made by visiting the SDTC website at Events | Southbury Democrats, completing the reservation form, and making payment.
