The Southbury Board of Selectmen will hold a public forum on June 28, 2023 at 7 pm in room 205 of the Town Hall. The forum will also be streamed live on the town website.
A police services study committee has recently completed an extensive evaluation and compiled a report evaluating various differences between remaining a part of the resident state trooper program or moving to an independent police department. This forum will be an opportunity for Southbury residents to comment or ask questions regarding the police services report that was recently released.
The report is available on the town website at www.southbury-ct.org. For those citizens who cannot attend the forum and would like to comment, please email the First Selectman at selectman@southbury-ct.gov, and all comments will be forwarded to the entire Board of Selectmen.
