State Police looking for the public's help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-n-run

The Connecticut State Police at Troop A in Southbury are investigating a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday morning, October 5, 2020, at 7:45AM, on I-84 Westbound, in the vicinity of exit 11 in Newtown.

State Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the evading vehicle, described as an older, dark gray Toyota 4Runner, which had two kayaks on its roof. After the accident, the Toyota fled the scene, with its rear bumper hanging off. If this sounds familiar, and you may have seen the accident, or know who owns the Toyota, you're being asked to contact the Connecticut State Police at Troop A by calling 203-267-2240.
