Stamford, CT - The Stamford Land Conservation Trust is excited to announce the successful installation of an osprey nesting platform at Wallacks Drive on the Wallacks Preserve. The installation event took place on Saturday, April 15th, and the osprey tower is now ready to welcome an osprey family.
The Osprey tower was installed to promote the conservation and protection of the local Osprey population. The tower provides a safe and stable environment for ospreys to nest and raise their young, and the installation was a significant step forward in the conservation efforts of the Stamford Land Conservation Trust.
The Stamford Land Conservation Trust would like to extend its thanks to all the volunteers, donors, and supporters who made this project possible. The trust is committed to preserving the natural beauty of the area and will continue to work towards the conservation of local wildlife.
Additionally, the trust has launched a 24/7 live stream of the osprey nest, which can be accessed through the stamfordland.org website. The live stream will enable people to view the ospreys from the comfort of their own homes and will provide an opportunity for anyone interested in conservation efforts to learn more about these magnificent birds.
