Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons Updates: Park Cleanup, State of City and More!

MAYOR’S UPDATES

  • State of the City: Last night, I gave my State of the City address to the Stamford Chamber of Commerce. I highlighted the progress we’ve made over the past two and a half years on infrastructure projects such as the new parking garage at the Stamford Train Station, the $17 million Reconnecting Communities grant that will transform and enhance connectivity, pedestrian safety, and green space for residents on the West Side, Downtown, and South End, and our long-term school’s facility plan. While I am proud of the progress we’ve made over the past two and a half years, there is still work to do including building more affordable housing so that whether you’re a senior who has lived in Stamford all your life, a family, or a recent college graduate you can live in Stamford.
  • Rosa Hartman Park Clean Up: Last Saturday, I was joined by Stamford residents for our Rosa Hartman Park clean-up. Thank you to all our volunteer
