35th Annual Darien Road Race on September 14th

The Darien Road Race is a beloved Darien community event celebrating its 35th year. The race includes a scenic 10k and a 1.5 mile “loop” around the picturesque Pear Tree Point Beach golden coastline, and attracts over 500 runners, family and friends for a day of fun, music, food and a celebration of community.

The Darien Road Race proudly supports The Community Fund of Darien and its mission to enhance the quality of life for our neighbors in Darien, Stamford and Norwalk. The Community Fund of Darien is about people helping people, locally changing lives with investments of time, expertise and financial support.

Now in its 35th year, the race has raised more than $950,000 to benefit our neighbors in critical need in Stamford, Norwalk and Darien. The Darien Road Race is a fundraising for a beloved local charity, The Community Fund of Darien. We depend on individual donations and business sponsorships for support.

All money raised in the race will benefit local non-profits in Stanford, Norwalk and Darien working to improve the lives of at-risk youth, families in need and those suffering from the effects of poverty,  homelessness, hunger, mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence, and more. Please run for a cause and help us raise money to support our neighbors in need.
