Tickets are on now sale for the Stamford Senior Center’s ‘Lives Blossom’ fundraising event. The celebration takes place on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 6pm at The Italian Center in Stamford.
This festive annual tradition offers cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and an exciting silent auction. The event raises critical funds for the Stamford Senior Center’s wide array of vital programs and services to help older adults remain active, healthy and connected to community.
“Lives Blossom helps the Stamford Senior Center enrich the lives of so many of our senior neighbors,” said Christina Crain, Stamford Senior Center Executive Director. “As a nonprofit organization, we are a lifeline for over 500 members who call the Center their home away from home.”
The evening will honor three extraordinary volunteers, Rouja Brzozowski, Stuart Madison, and Peter Ebstein. For the past seven years, this dedicated group have been assisting their peers with technology needs, helping them use their smartphones and tablets to stay connected with family and friends through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
Tickets are $150 and can be purchased by visiting www.stamfordseniorct.org For more information, call 203-977-5151. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. The Italian Center is located at 1620 Newfield Avenue in Stamford.
