The City of Stamford will soon commence the State mandated revaluation project of 2022 with the assistance of Municipal Valuations Services, LLC (Munival) of Fairfield, CT (the revaluation company hired to assist the City with the revaluation). The data collection phase will take place from August 2021 through September 2022.
Throughout this time-period, Municipal Valuation Services employees will be taking exterior photos of properties as well as inspecting the exterior and interior of residential and commercial properties throughout the City of Stamford. Company representatives will also be expected to knock on resident taxpayer’s doors to ask project-related questions.
In accordance with the most recent CDC Covid-19 guidelines, all employees will have daily health checks, wear proper face coverings at all times while outside their vehicle or speaking with taxpayers, and will adhere to proper social distancing protocols.
All Munival employees will have a City badge and a company badge. They will also have magnets on their vehicles and the company logo on their attire to better enable identification.
