India: The Color, The Calm and The Chaos Explored in Photographs and Conversation at New Canaan Library

India, one of the most exotic and visually beautiful places in the world has many sides to it. New Canaan Library invites all to take a visual journey and get to see all aspects of India with local photographers Mike and Sally Harris. The event takes place on Thursday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room. Please register online at newcanaanlibrary.org.

Mike and Sally Harris have developed a passion for cultural photography. Over the past several years, they have traveled around the U.S. and internationally capturing the essence of a place by photographing people in their daily lives. Last spring, Mike and Sally spent three weeks in India photographing the beautiful colors, the serenity of the Golden Temple and the color and chaos of Holi Festivals, India’s annual joyous celebration of spring.

The Harrises are active members of the Stamford Photography Club.  They have exhibited in numerous shows around Fairfield County and enjoy presenting photo essays to various groups.
